Restaurants and bars

Kalkan is said to have the highest number of restaurants and bars per square metre on the Turkish coast. Almost every establishment has its own roof-top or terrace bar serving all kinds of international drinks and cocktails. Kalkan is also renowned for its roof-top restaurants which offer a wonderful view of the town, sea and stars. The restaurants seem to be woven into the very fabric of this beautiful place with a perfect climate for Alfresco dining.

Whether you choose a roof terrace restaurant with views across Kalkan bay and the Islands or a restaurant by the harbour side, lined with Turkish Gulets and luxury yachts, dining here is a truly memorable experience.

Warm turkish hospitality is also very much part of dining in Kalkan with service levels reminiscent of some of the very best restaurants in Britain. From traditional Ottoman cuisine through French and Italian to Thai fusion, the Kalkan restaurants cater to every taste.

Aubergine restaurant down at the harbour serves a wide range of food including some stunning traditional Ottoman dishes. For a truly romantic meal try Gironda and ask for table 4. The garden at Gironda is a beautiful Italianate courtyard with hidden lighting and comfy armchairs, perfect for an early evening cocktail.

Sade restaurant serve amazing cocktails, filet steak and the Sea Bass with prawns is to die for!

Kalamaki, Gourmet , Trio and the Korsan Fish Terrace are all notable and Adams Place a few minutes drive out of Kalkan towards Kas is one of our favourite lunchtime haunts. (These are some of our personal favourites, there are far too many to mention each and every one).

All of these restaurants are reviewed on Trip Advisor, so please visit their website for more information.
