What can I say – Thank you so much for making our holiday absolutely perfect, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your Villa. We thought the Villa was amazing, exquisitely furnished and equipped in excellent taste – we can’t recommend it highly enough!!

The gorgeous pool, by which we enjoyed a “few” glasses of vino and cool beers means the villa really is beautiful inside and out – you clearly have put a lot of effort in!  How can we stay away? The answer is we can’t, we have booked again for the same time next year.

We found Kalkan itself wonderful with the views spectacular, the people the best, with numerous restaurants to choose from being both un-spoilt and with lots of charm – all providing for a fine dining experience.

Thank you once again for sorting the transfers to and from the Airport and giving us a fabulous holiday – Can’t wait for next year.

Thank you for creating such a beautiful slice of heaven for us to enjoy – and we have – your Villa is fantastic!

It has been so well put together and finished off. Everything from the bed linen to the artwork on the walls is first class.

Both myself and Karen agreed that the master bedroom is the most amazing place we have ever slept in.

We had a superb stay in this tastefully appointed villa which has obviously been furnished by someone with a flair for interior design. The villa overlooks the bay at Kalkan offering wonderful views, with the pool area basking in sunshine all day long. The villa is equipped with everything you might need, the master suite on the top floor is worth a special mention, as are the views from its own balcony.

There’s extensive use of natural stone flooring, all en-suites are nicely appointed, the open plan living and kitchen area is spacious and ideal for group entertaining, the rattan outside furniture just makes resting or dining by the pool so comfortable – I could go on and on. Kalkan itself has such an excellent range of good quality restaurants, you’re really spoilt for choice and I feel by far the best I’ve experienced in Turkey, try also some of the restaurants in the hills overlooking the town.

Book a boat trip early, the boats are very popular, our skipper was extremely courteous and provided an fantastic day out. We stayed in Fethiye for two nights before our arrival at the villa which made good use of the prior weekend and allowed us to experience another part of this lovely region of Turkey.

I booked the Villa Alexander for a group of friends having been there with my family the previous year. It is a stunning villa which is very luxurious, finished to a high standard and is very spacious making it perfect for a small or large group.
The whole villa has amazing views across the bay from all of the rooms and it is wonderful to sit on one of the balconies and see all the boats heading out from, or back to the harbour in the early morning or evening.
The villa is well equipped (better than home!) and there is a small supermarket just a few minutes walk away for provisions .
Kalkan is a lovely village with plenty of shops, good quality restaurants, bars and very friendly locals .
For a relaxing holiday with friends and family, this villa, in this location would be hard to beat and I have booked it again for May 2012 as I know that we are guaranteed fantastic holiday.

“I am in LOVE”

An Amazing beautiful place – I am so sad to leave here.

The Villa is just like a dream – the best stay ever- I will be coming back

I would defy anyone to stay at Alexander Villa without falling in love with it, with the glorious Mediterranean views from its every window and with Kalkan itself.

We planned a week there in mid-April and thanked heaven for the volcanic ash, which kept us there for a whole extra week.

We were there with our four adult children plus two of their partners…eight in all and Villa Alexander gave us plenty of space without the need to use the Ottoman room, which is like a separate apartment with its own entrance.  We can be a prickly bunch but in two weeks we never felt we were too much on top of each other.  A party of ten would not feel crowded.

The villa is furnished and decorated with a real designer’s eye.   It is also superbly equipped. The garden is similarly spacious and comfortably chic, cleverly furnished like a series of extra rooms which  provide different areas of seating for both sunbathers and shade-lovers, quiet readers and noisy social sorts.

It is no surprise to discover that  owners, Jane and Richard Clifford have an interior design business near their home in Sussex.  But as well as offering a beautiful villa,  they are charming and helpful and were particularly kind to us when we found ourselves marooned in Turkey although we have never met.

Finally, Kalkan. A simply glorious village, heavily colonised by Brits but absolutely not the sort of Brits you feel embarrassed to share a nationality with.  There must be a hundred restaurants and bars but you don’t see drunkenness or bad behaviour. The standard of cuisine is generally very high and even the simplest restaurant will pay great attention to the presentation of its food.

Kalkan isn’t for the faint hearted.  It rises steeply from the shore in a little maze of steep,, narrow,  streets. There are many hills and steps to climb if you want to explore the shops and restaurants but  it always feels worth the effort.

Villa Alexanda is just superb. Every room is individually appointed with a luxury spec.
The outlook over the infinity pool and Kallkan Bay (if thats what it’s called) is breathtaking. You don’t tire of the view for sure.
Location is quiet but only 2 mins drive from town where the most friendly locals await you. By the end of your week you’ll feel like you have friends there, such is the welcome.
I’d definitely return which is not what I usually say after a trip.
